PureVideo Takes Another $2.85 Million From Softbank

PureVideo, based in El Segundo, CA, is taking in another $2.85 million investment from Softbank, according to PE Hub.  The company, which specializes in online and mobile user-generated content, originally raised $5.6 million in 2005, also from SoftBank.  The company distributes content through a variety of partners, as well as its own sites StupidVideos.com (viral videos), GrindTV.com (extreme sports), HollywoodUpClose.com (celebrity), and PoliticsUpClose.com
