@ D6: Activision CEO On Social Gaming

By Rafat Ali - Wed 28 May 2008 09:29 AM PST

Activision (NSDQ: ATVI) CEO Bobby Kotick on social gaming: “It is bringing new users into the gaming market...you are seeing a lot of traffic on those sites and places like Facebook and MySpace. It is a great way for people to understand the interactive value of games. There is no business model today, but over time it will with advertising, subscription and other ways. Casual games don’t need to be very visual....they deliver a great amount of entertainment, and you don’t think about how primitive the graphics could be.”
