Mobile and Online Social Networking Service Treemo Raises $2.55 Million

By Joseph Weisenthal - Wed 17 Oct 2007 10:17 AM PST

Seattle-based Treemo, which offers social networking and photo, video and audio sharing over mobiles and online, has raised $2.55 million from JK&B Capital. The company’s total funding now comes to $3.05 million, having raised less than a million under its previous name Hyperboy. The company’s competition in this space is vast, although its hoping its range of offerings and mobile bent will help set it apart. The company plans to use the money for marketing, infrastructure, R&D, and an international expansion. The company was founded last year by Mobliss co-founder Brent Brookler.
