Toolbar Company Conduit Raises $8 Million In Second Round

Conduit, a web community toolbars provider, has today announced it raised $8 million in its second round of funding from Benchmark Capital. In addition to enabling web publishers to maintain personalized toolbars, Conduit provides syndication solutions meant to increase site traffic and revenue and counts Fox News, Lufthansa, and Major League Baseball as some of its clients. The company plans to use the funds to expand adoption of its toolbar service and broaden its syndication solutions portfolio.
