Comstock Headed Back To GE: Report; NBC Denies It

We heard this rumor two days ago as well, but don’t yet have any confirmation on it: NYP reports that Beth Comstock, NBCU’s (NYSE: GE) President of Integrated Media (including overseeing digital), is moving back to parent GE. She will join GE in her former position as chief marketing officer, the story says citing “half a dozen sources”. But NBC spokesperson vehemently denied the report: “There is simply no truth to this rumor. Beth is staying put. She is a valued member of the team and will continue to play a key role in our growth.” More as we find out more…
