Casual Gamer Gamook Gets $1.5 Million First Round

Gamook, a Menlo Park, CA-based casual game developer, has raised a $1.5 million first round from US Venture Partners, according to VentureBeat. Exactly what the company has planned is still unclear, as it is still in stealth and it has no web site. The company is one of several casual game firms to have announced funding in the past several months.
