Case’s Grand Plans

By Rafat Ali - Mon 31 Oct 2005 02:11 PM PST

Steve Case, who just resigned from Time Warner (NYSE: TWX) board, gets a big kiss-up in Fortune, about his big plans with his healthfocused firm Revolution.

He’s going to launch a health info portal next year, which will help patients find doctors, schedule appointments, and manage health spending accounts. Four of the companies he recently acquired--MyDNA Media, 1-800-Schedule, Simo Software, and Wondir--will provide some services. Case plans to add more, including information on doctor quality, either through acquisition or by developing new products in-house.
