Case-Backed Health Portal Launches; Acquires Community Site CarePages

As we reported earlier this week, Steve Case’s ambitious health portal RevolutionHealth launched today. The company has also acquired CarePages, a free personal-page builder and social-networking for users to communicate and monitor the health of another. The company said CarePages generates 30 million monthly page views...the site was started in March 2000. CarePages, which will continue to operate as a separate unit within Revolution Health.
