CareerBuilder.com Buys Greek Jobs Site Kariera.gr

CareerBuilder.com, the jobs site owned by Gannett, Tribune, McClatchy, and Microsoft, is acquiring Kariera.gr, the largest jobs site in Greece. Kariera.gr will continue to operate under its own name, but will be powered by CareerBuilder’s technological platform. Since starting its international expansion last year, CareerBuilder has bought or built sites in Canada, Sweden, the UK, the Netherlands, and India, while partnering with existing sites in China and Korea. Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. Release.
