-- MTVN’s LogoOnline unveils vlogs: MTVN’s (NYSE: VIA) LogoOnline has created 15 video blogs that the MTVN unit plans to run on its federated sites and distribution network, which includes AOL (NYSE: TWX) and Joost, and on its mobile platform. The online videos will reflect the Logo cable channel’s LGBT (NYSE: BT) (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) programming niche. In all, LogoOnline’s blogs will have roughly four-and-a-half hours of video a week.

-- YouNewsTV expands to 50 station sites: Broadcast Interactive Media’s YouNewsTV has announced WLNE Providence as its 50th station partner in 38 markets around the country. The service, enabling users to post videos and photos to local television station websites, was launched last March, and covers 38 markets. BIM plans to launch a content exchange within the next few weeks that will help stations share videos with each other.

-- Newscom to offer access to Reuters (NSDQ: RTRSY) videos: The text and visual content provider Newscom will now offer its subscribers online access to Reuters videos, making the news agency to become the first to offer broadcast quality breaking news video online in the U.S. With over 13,000 clips now available on the Newscom site, coverage includes human interest, sports and entertainment, and regional stories across the globe.

-- YouTube traffic dips for the second week in a row: YouTube reported 29.7 million unique users for the week of Jan. 13, down from 30.7 million for the week of Jan. 6. Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) Video also reported a 1.4 million dip, down from 2.2 million the week before. MSN Video’s unique user count, on the other hand, was estimated at 3.3 million for the week of Jan. 13, up from 2.5 million the week before. Of course, two weeks don’t make a trend as these fluctuations are common in video-sharing sites.

-- Brightcove to provide ad-supported video for Gruner+Jahr: Brightcove has inked a deal to provide advertising-supported video for German publisher Gruner+Jahr, giving the U.S. online video syndication firm its first major media customer in Germany. The agreement will enable media outlets to expand online video content and publishers to compete for television advertisements.
