Broadband Content Bits: CBS Audience Network; My Damn Channel-MySpaceTV; Warner Bros.; Online HDTV

CBS Interactive Taps Affiliates For Hyperlocal Reach: CBS Interactive (NYSE: CBS) is gathering the CBS-owned television, radio and affiliated stations to give the CBS Audience Network hyperlocal access. The project encompasses 29 owned TV, 144 radio, and up to 183 affiliated station websites. While some have already launched, most of the partnership sites will be up and running at the start of CBS Television Network’s Fall season later this month. Release

MyDamnChannel.com Meets MySpaceTV: MyDamnChannel, one of the latest Hollywood broadband efforts, adds a MySpaceTV channel to the YouTube channel it launched with in July. The various content—short-form comedy, new music and more—comes from synchronized swimmer Harry Shearer, music producer Don Was; indie comic filmmaker David Wain; and comic Andy Milonakis, launching a weekly series this week.

Warner Bros., Real Team On Henson Show: Having decided it had to produce the content before it could extract the revenue from advertisers, Warner Bros. (NYSE: TWX) has now identified its full online programming slate, known as Studio 2.0. Consisting of over two dozen digital productions, the shows will be distributed through aggregators like Joost and RealNetwork (NSDQ: RNWK). Warner Bros. and RealNetwork are currently teaming on the “Jim Henson Company Adult Puppet Projects,” which will initially encompass a three live action comedies. Web Video Gets HDTV Treatment In South Korea: Two South Korean tech companies, UBalance Co., an ISP, and MatrixStream Technologies, have partnered on a multichannel, streaming HDTV-like online video project that will launch in beta next month. The two expect to roll out a complete version of the web video vehicle early next year. MatrixStream also claims to have a similar deal in place with an unidentified U.S. ISP that it said has 5 million members. via ScreenPlays
