BiteTV Parent GlassBOX Raises C$5 Million First Round

GlassBOX, the parent of the Bite TV interactive broadcast channel, has raised C$5 million ($4.89 million) from JLA Ventures and various individual media executives. BITE TV bears a resemblance to Al Gore’s Current TV—it’s a broadcast network with a range of amateur and profesionally-produced content. In addition to being available over various Canadian broadcast networks, its content is distributed by Joost. Release.
