AOL’s Platform-A Makes Its Pitch To Small Publishers With Advertising.com PubAccess Service

AOL (NYSE: TWX) display ad unit Advertising.com has created PubAccess, a self-serve tool for publishers to join the Ad.com network. The service is aimed at small publishers as a way to manage their display ads. AOL is stressing the various levels of control PubAccess gives publishers, such as letting them block certain advertisers and categories, pull tags and view activity reports. PubAccess is also being packaged with Ad.com’s AdLearn technology, its optimization tool. As a third incentive, PubAccess will bring the full sales force of Platform-A, which houses Ad.com and AOL’s other online ad companies. Release
