By Joseph Weisenthal - Thu 03 Apr 2008 02:19 PM PST

Missed this from a couple weeks ago… Ad firm Adgent has raised a $5.3 million first round from CM Capital. The SF-based company targets foreign publishers to help them serve ads that are relevant to local readers. So, for example, a US-based reader reading a UK-based site would not see ads targeting the UK market, but ones that are more geographically relevant. The company has created its own ad marketplace and it also offers publishers its ad sales force.CEO Cameron Yuill was previously at Cendant, where he helped build out its ad network Partner Marketing. Release.
